David founded Cumbrian Properties in 1993 with the vision of creating Cumbria’s leading independent Estate Agency. David still plays an active part in the company as well as overseeing the management of the Keswick and Windermere offices and the group’s sister company Lakes Cottage Holidays.
With over 20 years' experience in the property industry, Adrian has an expert knowledge of the local market. Adrian is responsible for the sales, lettings and auctions divisions in the north of the County as well as marketing and advertising.
Julia brings a wealth of management experience to the company, having previously worked in commercial management for Marks and Spencer and the property management business in the Lake District.
Liam has worked his way up through our business over the last 12 years, after
successful spells in our Sales and Rentals departments, Maintenance Team and Mortgage
department. Liam is now responsible for sales valuations and market appraisals in Carlisle
and the surrounding areas and with his knowledge of the local market and his personal
approach to clients, he is able to give sound advice on the sales process and the most
effective marketing strategies.
Gemma's extensive knowledge of the local market can be attributed to her vast experience working in residential property sales. She joined our sales team having previously worked for another local estate agency. Since arriving in 2004, she has excelled in ensuring all of our buyers and sellers receive the highest standards of delivery and customer service.
Rebecca joined Cumbrian Properties in 2009 following an 11-year career with a leading national retailer. She maintains a key role in the sales team proactively marketing our broad range of diverse properties. As with all of the sales team, she is passionate in her pursuit of getting the best result for all parties.
Emma has worked in the property industry for over 10 years. Since joining the company Emma has worked in sales, lettings and valuations. She now plays a key role in marketing and sales, and has a vast knowledge of the housing market.
Kathryn joined the company in 2012 having previously worked in another estate agency and the hospitality business. She has brought with her a wealth of customer service and continues to build her sales experience with a personal and proactive approach to marketing and is motivated to achieve the best results.
Ann's in-depth local market knowledge stems from many years of experience working in the North Cumbrian property arena. She is a key figure in the sales team and plays an active part in driving the sales process by maintaining excellent levels of communication and the efficient administration of all paper work.
Jodie joined Cumbrian Properties in 2000 bringing with her a wealth of experience of residential sales and lettings having worked in a variety of different roles across the region. Jodie works as part of the dedicated lettings team based in Carlisle.
Sarah looks after the companies ever expanding portfolio of residential and commercial lettings. Since joining in 2009, Sarah has played an integral role in securing Cumbrian Properties' position as the leading player in the region's rental property market.
Susan is on hand to ensure our landlords and tenants receive the highest standards and the service they deserve. She has been a part of the lettings team since joining Cumbrian Properties in 2012 and combines a sensitive personal approach to tenants and landlords, with a practical knowledge of the local area.
Connor studied his A levels at William Howard School until June 2015, initially working with us whilst at school on a Saturday, until he joined the company full time in August 2015. He has enjoyed working in Residential Sales and Lettings Property Maintenance and is now looking forward to working as a Lettings Negotiator, dealing with new tenants and landlords.
Adriana joined our Property Maintenance team in 2008. Her diligence ensures
we uphold our impeccable standards of service throughout and makes sure all of our
properties meet with necessary regulatory standards. Adriana and her team are on hand to
look after the daily operation of all of our 500+ properties, from organising refurbishments
and repairs to competently handling the 'occasional' emergency.
David's role is predominantly field based and involves carrying out inspections, inventories, fault-finding, scheduling maintenance and liaising with contractors. David is on hand to ensure we proactively serve the needs of our tenants and landlords. He joined the Cumbrian Properties team in 2005 after a successful career in Retail Store Management.
Maria joined the company in 2004 and has a wealth of knowledge in both sales and lettings. As one of the first points of contact in the office, Maria offers an exceptional level in customer service to all clients.
Dave has recently joined our Lettings Maintenance team after a successful spell
of property development and previously working in the motor trade. Dave is responsible for
dealing with general and scheduled maintenance, regular inspection reports and liaising
with landlords, contractors and tenants on a regular basis.
Over the last 20 years, Karen has worked with us across the region at both our Carlisle and Brampton offices. Karen's professional approach coupled with her expansive local knowledge, bring a wealth of experience to the Penrith office.
With over a decade's worth of experience, Jackie is responsible for carrying out sales valuations and genuine market appraisals for our extensive range of North Cumbrian properties. She consistently manages our ever changing residential portfolio, managing the marketing and effectively advising and guiding clients through the sales process.
Sarah has joined the company following a move to Penrith from the Manchester area and has a wealth of experience within the property industry, with over 12 years experience, of both sales negotiating and valuing. Sarah is looking forward to meeting new Vendors and working hard to achieve the best price possible when selling their home.
Stef is a local Penrith girl , who has joined the Cumbrian Properties team as a sales negotiator having previously had a career as a dispensing optician, she is looking for new challenges but wanted to keep the customer relations aspect that she has grown to love. She has a great energy and prides herself on customer service, and is very excited about pursuing a career within the property industry.
Jess joined the team in March 2014 and brought a wealth of customer service from the hospitality industry. In a short space of time, our Lettings department has gone from strength to strength due to her commitment and attention to detail.
Jackie joined the company in 2010 after a career with the Cumberland Building Society. She has an enthusiastic approach to marketing and offers excellent communication skills.
Karen has worked in our Keswick office for 15 years, starting in our holiday cottage letting business. Karen is now manager and valuer, specialising in the sales and management of holiday cottages throughout the Keswick, Ullswater and Cockermouth areas.
Nadime has extensive knowledge of Whitehaven and the surroundings areas having lived here all her life. She has excellent communication with vendors and purchasers also a proactive approach to marketing and is motivated to achieving the best results. This is imperative to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Vickie joined our team in May 2015 and quickly worked her way up to become responsible for sales valuations and market appraisals in the Whitehaven and surrounding areas. With her personal approach to clients, she is able to give sound advice on the sales process and the most effective marketing strategies.
Petra moved over to the UK from Czech Republic to study in Bournemouth and successfully completed a Masters degree in Sustainable Tourism Development. After studying, Petra began working in Hospitality management and moved to Windermere to enjoy the different lifestyle the Lakes can offer starting with a job in the Wordsworth Hotel in Grasmere. Petra has now joined our Windermere team as a sales receptionist and looks forward to learning more about the Sales Market in the Lake District.
